Welcome to Spicy Mamas Shop! We make handmade jewellery, charms, and other small, weird things for people with excellent taste and questionable judgement.

These Terms of Service apply when you visit our website, browse our products, or make a purchase. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, along with our applicable store policies.

1. About our shop

Spicy Mamas Shop is an independent small business based in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Our products

Our products are handmade, often in small batches, and may have small variations in colour, shape, texture, and finish. These little differences are part of the handmade process and mean your piece may not look exactly identical to another.

We do our best to display products accurately in photographs and descriptions. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and device.

Please read product descriptions carefully, including measurements, materials, hardware options, and any care instructions, before ordering.

3. Orders and payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be shown at checkout where required.

Payment must be completed using an accepted payment method before an order is processed, unless another arrangement is explicitly offered.

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation. Please review it and contact us promptly if you notice an error.

An order confirmation does not remove any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.

4. Custom orders and personalized products

Some products can be customized or made especially for you.

You are responsible for checking the spelling, selected colours, sizing, and other details you submit with your order. We will use the information provided to make your item.

If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once production has started.

Custom orders may take longer to make than ready-to-ship items. Any applicable production or estimated dispatch timeline will be communicated in the product listing or during the ordering process.

5. Preorders and made-to-order items

Some products are offered as preorders or are made after an order is placed.

Estimated production and dispatch timelines will be provided in the relevant product listing or at checkout. These timelines refer to preparation and dispatch, not the carrier's delivery time.

If we become aware of a significant delay we will communicate relevant information and any options available to you. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.

6. Shipping and local pickup

We ship within Canada and internationally where shipping options are available.

Processing times, shipping options, tracking availability, delivery estimates, and applicable shipping charges are explained in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Local pickup may be available in Central Saanich, British Columbia. Please wait for pickup confirmation and instructions before collecting your order.

7. Returns, refunds, and cancellations

8. Product care and use

Please follow any care instructions provided with your product.

Jewellery and small handmade objects may be delicate. Avoid rough handling and follow any relevant instructions about water, chemicals, heat, storage, and cleaning.

Unless a product is specifically described otherwise, our items are decorative or personal accessories and are not intended to be toys, food, or products for children to mouth or swallow.

Small parts may present a choking hazard. Keep products away from young children and pets where appropriate.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the original product designs, photographs, illustrations, written content, branding, and other creative material on this website belong to Spicy Mamas Shop or are used with permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our original content or designs without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Please use our website lawfully and respectfully.

You must not use the site to engage in fraudulent activity, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or violate another person's rights.

To the extent permitted by law, Spicy Mamas Shop is not responsible for losses arising from uses of our website or products that are outside their reasonably intended use, or for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
