Spicy Mamas started with me, my daughter, her bestie, and her bestie's mum making things together. Somewhere along the way, it became something of my own, too.
Life has been a lot, and humour has always been one of my favourite coping mechanisms. Making things has become a healing process for me, a way to reconnect with myself, find joy in the little things, and make something out of the chaos.
I make handmade jewelry and tiny weird things that are cute, a little unhinged, and occasionally inappropriate. Because sometimes you need meaningful art, and sometimes you need a tiny gay cake. Both are valid, right??? Right.
I'm a feminist, I'm queer, I'm pro-Palestine, and I believe no one is illegal on stolen land. I believe in trans rights, bodily autonomy, and making the world a little kinder, even when I'm making fun of it.
